Possibilities of use of non traditional raw materials for the manufacture of the vacuum thermal insulation with extremely low thermal conductivity
Kováriková, Růžena ; Peterková, Jitka (referee) ; Zach, Jiří (advisor)
The thesis deals with the study of the behavior of advanced insulating materials on the basis of secondary raw materials and the possibilities of their use in the production of vacuum insulation using in the construction and industry. The work will be devoted to possible raw material resources, problems of long-term behavior of insulators on the basis of selected secondary raw materials under reduced pressures as well as economic evaluation of the competitiveness of alternative insulators on the building market in the field of vacuum insulation.
Study of behavior of fiber structures under low pressure
Heliová, Magdaléna ; Peterková, Jitka (referee) ; Zach, Jiří (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with study of behavior of fibrous organic insulants under greatly reduced pressure (even to vacuum). Development, production and durability of vacuum insulating panels are described in the theoretical part as well as principles of heat transfer. Method for production of core of VIP, created using waste fibers from textile industry and agriculture, is described in the practical part. Verification of behavior during normal and reduced pressure (even to vacuum) was carried out on experimentally made core insulants.
Design of a building using alternative materials with respect to the requirements for sustainable development
Dvořák, Jakub ; Remeš, Josef (referee) ; Žižková, Nikol (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design of a small family house, which construction uses alternative building materials. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the world, European and Czech legislation related to sustainable development. The concept of ecological construction, which focuses on the possibilities of reducing the negative impacts of construction production on the environment at various stages of construction and on energy, material, water and waste management, is also presented. The thesis also describes advantages and disadvantages of particular solutions. In the second part of the thesis, which based on theoretical knowledge, is the design of a family house from alternative materials worked out. The design of the study in the scale of 1:100 consists of measured floor plan drawings of all storeys, characteristic measured section drawings, layout plans with displayed furniture and equipment, elevation drawings of particular facades, roof drawings and situation design. The drawing part is accompanied by a text part. The processed design is compared to the reference building and then evaluated from the point of view of functional, economic, environmental and social requirements.
Návrh konferenčního stolku z materiálu na bázi Cannabis sativa L.
Michlová, Jana
The work deals with the design of a coffee table made of a material based on Cannabis sativa L. It is based on the knowledge gained in the theoretical part of the work, where I focused on the analysis of existing knowledge on the topic of coffee tables and the identification of parameters necessary for the design. An essential part of the theoretical part of the work is also the characterization of the material Cannabis sativa L, its historical development, and the possible applications of the material. In the practical part of the work, I focus on the actual design of the coffee table with an emphasis on variability. The work also includes an analysis and comparison of the properties of the chosen material with the materials on which we also investigated material characteristics.
